A common thread runs through these

Carole Mackin
grew up in St. Charles, Missouri at the mouth of the Missouri River.
She has
come up in the world and now lives with her husband, Mark, in the
Missouri headwaters near Helena, Montana. Carole is a Geochemist who
spent a long career writing scientific documents. She has also
written several
true Montana tales, a poem or two, and four novels.
After retiring in 2005, she planned to garden, ski, and hike. But three characters: Peggy Pryor, Brad Duello and Sisy Duello insisted their story must go down onto paper. They wanted to help people face uncertain times. Each day since 2005, the chaos that they faced has escalated. Their story tells us how to endure and perhaps even thrive.
